The garish range of colours in the new Instant Colour Hairspray range means you can have a new hair colour every day. Whether it’s streaks or a full head of colour, with the instant wash out nature, it means you can dabble in the colour of your choice without worrying it will go wrong.
After reading the guidelines, it states it’s not to be used on colour treated hair, the main culprit being bleached hair. This is what my hair falls under, so I braved a spritz on my very noticeable roots (all in the name of ombré hair of course) with the blonde can.
It came out quite yellow and instantly became bitty in my hair. It was damp to the touch for a considerable amount of time, so be careful if you were using the brighter colours as it will smudge onto your face and clothes at a touch.
There was no overpowering scent and the simple aerosol spray meant it was fool proof to use.
These are perfect for a fancy dress party or for random streaks through your hair, if you’re looking for a new colour, use these to try it out, then go all out with a box dye would be my advice.
