Accessorize are well known but for their gorgeous range of jewellery, scarves, hats and bags but know they can add a new string to their bow- Make up! I was so excited for the range coming out as I had high hopes for gorgeous colours, glam packaging and quality product and I was not disappointed! The first thing to note is the price, this range is so affordable I was amazed, with nail varnishes at £4 and a huge 8g of baked blusher for £5 there is something for everyone.

I wanted to share some of the things I have picked up ( so far..!)

The varnishes in the collection is such a wide range, their are some stunning chrome like shades, amazing duochromes with glitter( Aztec and Purple Dream being top picks) and some really nice neutral shades. My favourite so far has to be shade 6 Notorious.  It is so hard to photograph and do it justice,  in these photos it looks more greeny grey but in some lights it is has a purpley blue sheen to it.  The first coat was pretty streaky but it is fully opaque in two which is good, the varnishes don’t have the best brushes I have ever used, but to me the colours make up for that and it still covers the nail really well. I had to try it with a matt top coat as well, ( Rimmel does a superb one) and I am really pleased with how it looks both ways.

The other thing that instantly caught my eye was the stunning dome shaped merged blushers, so much so that I bought 3! They were all so stunning I just couldn’t decide and at only £5 each for 8g of product it is too tempting to resist. Particularly when I could see a use for each of the shades I picked up….

Left to Right in the Swatches:
Starlet- Is a hot pink with gorgeous gold veining that on the cheek is a stunning bright pop of colour, with the gold giving a healthy glow from within type feel- cheesy but true. Youthful almost dewy finish is perfect for wintry cheeks and I have been wearing this one non stop since I got it. I think this one comes top for me.
Pretty Pink- Is a really light pink with lilac and silvery veining. This one I got to use more as a highlight and for wearing under blush. It gives a really stunning glow without being mega ‘disco face’ .This is a great to have for the festive season, and just helps the light hit the face where you want.
Diva- Is a  warm toned deep red mixed with a lighter pink which gives a really rosy cheek with a hint of a glow, I use this one with a light hand to get a nice autumnal look that feels more grown up than the others.

The pigmentation of these baked/merged blushers is fantastic, I really am in love with them for the price and for what you get, and I have worn one of them pretty each every day since I got them. Staying power is really good and application is smooth and really blend-able. I don’t have any cons to these at all really! Here are two of them to show you  ( applied pretty Aunt Sally style so I could show them off fully on the skin!)

I cannot wait to go back to pick up some of the stunning eye shadows they have on offer, the colours and pigmentation are amazing, I just couldn’t decide where to start.

Are you under the spell of Accessorize yet?

I have the blusher in Starlet and I love it! I have very pale skin and this colour is fantastic because you can use a tiny bit for a subtle flush or build the colour up for a bright pop of colour. It’s very shimmery, which I like but might not be everybody’s cup of tea.
I have one of the merged eyeshadows in a bright pink and the colour payoff is very good too. Plus I’m happy that they have some glittery products as I do love a bit of glitter on a night out. The Accessorize range seems to be really good value for money given the range and quality of the products.
